We had a wonderful week in this cozy, lovely guesthouse, and we’ll definitely return. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Our spacious room was spotless and had plenty of storage, which you don’t always get in hotels. The garden is inviting, and everything is decorated with real attention to detail. Breakfast was nicely laid out and always had a good range of choices.

I only stayed one night during my cycling tour, in one of the two single rooms, and it felt too short to take in everything the guesthouse offers. I was welcomed so warmly that I felt at home right away. The owners are lovely, and the rooms, grounds, and courtyard are all furnished with care. There’s secure bicycle storage, and breakfast was delicious, with lots of regional products. I’d love to come back :)

We spent one night at the “Schäferbrink” in July 2025, during our bike trip from the Iller Valley to Sylt. The owner prepared a very good breakfast, and local restaurants were just a short walk away. Our newly renovated room was clean, modern, and tastefully furnished. We could lock our bikes safely in the bike garage, with plenty of outlets for charging our e-bike batteries. This owner-run guesthouse is a real treat, and the decor inside and out is worth seeing. We highly recommend the “Schäferbrink” guesthouse in Boizenburg.
