The owner was quick to respond, and the house was comfortable for our weekend with a cycling group. There’s a fantastic view from the balcony, even though Bollendorf itself isn’t especially lively. The scenery is beautiful, and the area is great for both cycling and hiking. Vianden and Trier are easy to reach as well.

Kids have room to run around in the big garden, and there are plenty of toys inside too. The balcony has a lovely view at this holiday spot near Luxembourg. There are four double bedrooms, plus four sofa beds in the living room.

We found this holiday home in Bollendorf cozy, clean, and very well equipped. The Southern Eifel’s rocky landscape is right nearby, with lots of good options for walks and day trips. Trier and Luxembourg are easy to get to, so it suits anyone interested in nature and culture.

Being so close to Luxembourg made this house a great choice for a long weekend with our cycling group. It’s especially well suited to groups, and we’d be glad to come back. This definitely won’t be our last visit.

We were there for a weekend with three families, and communication was easy and pleasant. The house has been furnished with a lot of imagination and care, with a clear eye for quality. There was even a nice surprise in the fridge. The beds are good, as are the well-appointed bathrooms. We had a big table for meals in the living room and lots of seats, while the kitchen had more than enough nice dishes. You can tell the owner wants guests to feel comfortable. From the living room, you look straight out at the Sauer River, with Luxembourg just across the way. It’s a good base for walks. The “Green Hell” is highly recommended and takes about 20 minutes on foot or 3 minutes by car. Echternach in Luxembourg is 10 minutes away by car and is worth a visit, with some great hikes there too. We and our friends felt very at home and would love to return. A great choice for a group.
