The food was generally nice, and I had a really tasty salmon plate as a starter. The spa feels a little outdated.

My husband really enjoyed his pork medallions with tagliatelle, and although my pumpkin lasagna had a couple of texture problems, with slightly hard cheese and pasta stuck to the bottom, it tasted excellent. The waiter apologized several times, immediately offered a solution, and kindly took the dish off the bill. The staff were outstanding, friendly, courteous, and very professional throughout. We went for dinner, and it was pleasantly quiet. The restaurant is comfortably furnished, the welcome was warm, there’s plenty of parking, and you can see the team makes an effort. Around 8 p.m., things got a little subdued as they dimmed the lights to prepare to close, though we still enjoyed our nightcap. We missed winter dishes like venison or dumplings on the menu, and aside from a small ice cream menu, there weren’t any desserts that appealed to us. The prices felt fair for what you get. We’re happy to give the restaurant another chance and will be back. The service was so warm and attentive.
