The station is nearby, and the toilet has a hand held bidet spray. It’s a good option for a short stay, whether you’re alone or with friends. The room was empty, so the owner was fine with us checking in early. Just remember to bring your own towels, they aren’t provided.

We booked this because it was the cheapest option for a short trip to Bonn, but left before spending our first night after finding bed bugs. The building didn’t look inviting, and there was a lot of broken furniture outside. Inside, it smelled bad and was really dirty, including our room. I wouldn’t recommend it for people with allergies. The host and other guests were friendly and welcoming, but that couldn’t make up for the experience. I hope the rooms are in better shape in the future.

I was unsure after reading the negative reviews, but for this budget you can’t expect much more. The rooms are clean, the owners are very helpful, and there’s a kitchen plus a really nice garden.

I’d be cautious about booking here. I reserved in early March for Bonn’s June Balon Festival, when accommodation gets very expensive, and A&S cancelled at the end of April. They said they didn’t have a room for me and that I still had plenty of time to find somewhere else. I’ve never had this happen before and I’m extremely disappointed. Best regards.
