My room was infested with bed bugs. These things can happen, but the owner’s response made the experience much worse. Communication was poor, the behavior was highly unprofessional, and there was no willingness to fairly address the costs and inconvenience. On several occasions, the owner lied about what had or hadn’t been done about the infestation and said there wasn’t time to deal with such trivial matters. Maybe my case was a fluke, but the reviews suggest otherwise. Google reviews for the accommodation, rather than the pub, include other terrible lodging experiences like mine. Earlier guests described management as "exceptionally unfriendly" and reported bed bug problems without enough compensation. I wish I’d looked more carefully before reserving a room at BrauHotel. Please don’t make my mistake. I strongly advise choosing another hotel or hostel in Bonn.

The location is central, which is a big plus, and check-in went smoothly. The rooms were neat and it’s great value. My only complaint is that the bed frame in the shared room seemed a little too fragile, even though I know it can take some heavy weight. Otherwise, no complaints.

Getting here from the railway station was easy, and the location is great. My room was cute, clean, and warm, with comfortable beds. There was coffee, tea, water, and some candies. I arrived at night, but my room access had been arranged perfectly. Many thanks 👍

The room was clean, and there’s a mini bar with coffee and tea. I love this place. It’s a hotel and bar, with the bar open from 16:00 until 2 am. It’s right at Market place Bonn :) and not too far from the main train station, so supermarkets, restaurants, and other places are easy to reach. Staying here also gets you one free drink per person. So nice :)

The room was decent, clean, and nice, and I had no problem with the location. But check-in was a really bad experience. The guy with a trucker hat and long hair treated me like I’d come to beg him for a room. I didn’t get his name because I was so mad. The room was great, but staff like that ruin everything good about a place. That’s why I gave it this rating.
