Dinner at St. Ribs was a real highlight. The baby back ribs were great, and the rib and cheese balls made a good bar snack. My colleague and I also enjoyed walking around the businesses in Bonn Zentrum. We picked Living Hotel Kanzler for a business trip because of its location and earlier ratings, and it lived up to what we hoped for. The staff were both professional and friendly, and our room was clean, spacious, and had what we needed. We also got two beers and two waters free each night.

Getting around was easy, with the Stadt Bahn four minutes away on foot and the Rhine Promenade about five minutes away. The hotel is large, but still felt welcoming. Our accommodation was comfortable, with good facilities for cooking ourselves or eating through the hotel. Reception were helpful with questions, and when someone in our group had a birthday, they turned the card delivery into a small celebration. I'd happily stay again.

The furniture looks a little dated, though it's good quality, clean, and well cared for. The hotel has a calm, pleasant feel, and the staff were friendly and professional.

I came away with a real fondness for Bonn. This was one of the best places I've stayed in ages: spacious, thoughtfully laid out rooms, great amenities including a gym and sauna, and service that was spot on. The location worked well too, and the price felt like good value.

The area was pleasant, the service was great, and the rooms were clean and roomy. Would recommend!
