Breakfast was great every morning, and the location puts you right in the heart of Bonn. The room was okay, though the walls are thin enough that you can hear people upstairs and outside.

We’ve stayed at Hotel Aigner at least three times, starting in 2011, always for the Christmas Markets. It’s the lovely staff who keep bringing us back. They make sure you have a good stay, and everyone who helped us this time did a great job too. The rooms we’ve had were all really good, with comfy beds and bathrooms equipped with everything you need. Breakfast is plentiful, varied, and high quality. We find it works best to book a parking spot ahead, and we’re happy to pay for the security. For a drink or a meal, turn right as you leave the hotel and walk to the crossroads, where there are several good pubs and restaurants. See you again!

The room had a bit of a draft and was colder than usual, but private parking was available and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast had a decent selection, and I especially liked the scrambled eggs.

There’s no air-con, which was my one gripe. Aside from that, I couldn’t fault the place. The staff were really friendly, and the location was excellent, with good restaurants, coffee shops, and bars nearby that weren’t too lairy. It’s only a five-minute stroll to the city centre. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
