The breakfast was very nice, with lots of choices, and there’s plenty nearby: cafes, ice cream shops, restaurants, a supermarket, a cineplex and many other shops, all within about a seven-minute walk. The location is very good, though the price is a little high. There’s onsite parking too. The hotel has a well-preserved retro look, though it is quite old. My room faced the street, and the noise went on late into the night. There’s no air conditioning in the rooms, which is a major drawback.

A very cute hotel, and I’d come back. The kind gentleman gave us a tip about where to park for free, which we really appreciated. The hotel’s own parking costs 15 Euros a night, though, and it isn’t even covered, so that feels pricey.

Breakfast was the highlight for us, easily the best hotel breakfast we’ve had in a long time. The sudžuk omelette was incredible, and we still think about it. The cook was very friendly and obliging when we asked for more. We visited Bonn for the Christmas markets and had a great time at Tinytwice hotel. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and furnished with modern, comfortable furniture. WiFi was great, and we didn’t feel we were missing anything in the room. The lounge was lovely, and all the staff we met were extremely friendly and ready to help or answer questions. If we come back to Bonn, we’ll book Tinytwice again.

The price was my biggest issue. The website advertised 80 Euros, which would have been fair for what’s offered and made for an enjoyable stay. Instead, I paid nearly 140 Euros per night on average, and I think Friday night alone was 200 Euros. At that rate, the room is seriously overpriced for what you get. Keep value for money in mind before booking. Having stayed at TinyTwice Bad Godesberg, I’d call 140 Euros a night basically a rip-off. I did enjoy the stay and the thoughtful decorative details were really well done. The location works well for Bad Godesberg and is close to public transport and the train station. The rooms ARE tiny, and you have to squeeze past the bed to cross the room. Still, aside from that narrow path, the room itself is actually fine, with a desk, couch and comfortable bed. They don’t clean your room or even make the bed unless you specifically ask. They call it “sustainable,” but it obviously saves them money. The breakfast, promoted as “the best in Bonn” or something like that, was okay, but nothing special. I’ve had much better on this trip, including at similarly priced and cheaper hotels. Staff were fine, but not nearly as friendly or efficient as at other hotels I’ve stayed in, for example in Budapest. Maybe it’s a bit of a German thing, though hospitality doesn’t seem to come naturally.

Small room, but it was clean, tidy and quiet, and the location was good. The lounge has free drinks, breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. TV and wlan both worked without any problems. You can park free on nearby streets, for example across the park. For something different, try the Hauraman Restaurant or Yan Language cafe.
