Wald-Cafe

I stayed one night while attending a great friend's wedding. The service was great, the room was clean, and it was affordable.

We found this charming little hotel by accident while looking for a place to stay during our European tour. They were welcoming and accommodating, and bringing our dog along was no issue. There are lots of places to walk nearby, which makes the location great for travelling with dogs. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was great.

The outdoor seating is great, and the bathrooms look very nice, but the indoor space leaves something to be desired. My food was good, though my friends weren't satisfied with theirs. The staff forgot our orders and gave our baby's highchair to someone else. It's a nice restaurant next to the forest, with good walking paths. Parking is limited since the restaurant is popular and also hosts events like weddings. It's a hotel too, and I went to a wedding here once. That was very nice.

The area is pretty and the food was good, but our room was very old fashioned. The sink and shower were both clogged, and the bed and mattress were old and noisy. We only ran into the bed and bathroom problems at night, when no one was at reception. At checkout, when we mentioned what happened, we were told we should have complained at check-in. If you book, ask for a renovated room and check everything right away.
