I loved the blinds around the bed. They make it feel like a sleeping pod 🛌. The lockers are roomy, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The shared bathroom worked fine for up to six other guests. There’s a hairdryer, though it’s the standard hotel kind, without especially strong heat or speed. My hostel room was clean and quiet, with a good bed. The sheets and pillow were particularly nice. A 10/10 stay, one of the best ho(s)tels I’ve been to.

Hotel Ebertor was a perfect base for our few days in Boppard. Waking up to the Rhine and the soft sound of the water was so refreshing. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was excellent, fresh, and varied.

The Biergarten attached to the hotel is a cool spot. You can take your beer down to the river and sit in their comfy outdoor chairs right by the water. The staff were wonderful, the rooms clean, and breakfast is absolutely worth it. It’s simple and easygoing, not fancy or stuffy, with a great location for public transport and parking. One small annoyance: the room key has a huge key chain that’s uncomfortable to carry in a front pocket.

A handy stop when driving north to south. The rooms have been freshly renovated, and the Rhine is just 50m away. Biergarten and restaurants are within crawling distance.

The room wasn’t very clean, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. A woman at reception, who seemed to manage the other staff, was very impolite and aggressive. A man working in the beer garden was also rude and behaved strangely when I ordered wine.
