We had such a lovely stay and would definitely come back 🥰 The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the large, clean apartment had everything we needed. The quiet farmhouse is in Insel, a cozy rural village just outside Schneverdingen and about 40 km south of Hamburg. We explored the surrounding area, including Bremen, Welt Vogelpark, and Miniatur Wunderland. We also took our Dwarf 2 telescope out to find the Andromeda galaxy, and it was a perfect spot for that ❤️

Wulfshof is a good pick if you want somewhere simple with the essentials. The village has a well-rated pub and a farm shop with self-checkout. Kids can play on the playground, including with the pedal cars, and see the animals.

We stayed on this lovely farm for a few days with our grandchildren, who are 3 and 7. They were happiest playing with the sand toys, riding the pedal cars, visiting the animals, and exploring the tree house. They could easily have spent all day there. Nearby, there are nice playgrounds and a well-kept outdoor pool fed by spring water. Thanks to our friendly hosts.

We've taken the kids here twice and would gladly return. It's a lovely farm with goats, pigs, horses, and toys for children, and the owners are always kind and helpful. Apartment 2 is downstairs and comes with a big terrace and everything you could want in the apartment.
