The food was tasty, and I really liked the balconies. The room itself was nice, and the bathroom was okay. The shower could be difficult if you're a larger person.

The rooms were good, and this is a nice place to stay while visiting Koblenz or the surrounding area. The whole hotel staff happened to be on holiday when we booked, though, so I can't say anything about the service.

I wish we'd booked more than one night. It was such a clean, cozy place, and in the morning we could hear birds singing and the brook bubbling in the woods across the street.

There was one real plus: the bikes had free covered parking. Otherwise, I can't recommend staying here. Parking for cars was cramped and awkward to maneuver in, and they charged for it, although there was street parking too. The room was the smallest hotel room I've ever seen in my 76 years. The bed was wedged between the walls, leaving almost no room to walk. Our supposed double was actually two single beds pushed together, and the separate duvets kept falling onto the floor and waking us up, so sleeping as a couple wasn't possible. The TV had no sound, though it was replaced, and the Wi-Fi in our room was a disaster. The bathroom was a tiny two-square-meter box, and the shower leaked badly beneath the doors. The restaurant's limited menu had just one beef, one pork, one fish, one pasta, and one salad option. More than one night would have been culinarily boring, and the simple continental breakfast at €15 wasn't worth it. I'm afraid we really didn't enjoy our stay.
