This was our second stay in the apartment, and we'd happily come back. The two-person place is a good size and very reasonably priced, and the landlords are exceptionally nice. Its location in Borkum is hard to beat: shops, restaurants, a bakery, an ice cream parlor and bike rental are just steps away, while the main beach and lighthouse are about five minutes away. There's no oven, but the small kitchenette has everything else you need.

Traveling alone, I felt very comfortable in the holiday apartment at the Leidheiser family's house. It's bright and spacious, with everything you need, and the bathroom has a lovely, large shower that's almost walk-in. The living area has a kitchenette with a ceramic cooktop for small snacks, plus a microwave, coffee maker and fridge with a separate freezer. There's also a flat-screen TV and radio. It's right in the town center but very quiet, and the beach is easy to reach. I'd definitely come back and would love to stay with the Leidheiser family again. Hildegard Leutgeb

We've stayed with Björn five times now and have been completely happy every time. The Leidheiser family is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the apartments are well maintained and have everything you could need, including a hairdryer, dishwasher, LED TV, coffee maker, toaster and microwave. We always book again straight away and are already looking forward to our next visit.

The train station is only a two-minute walk away, which made getting around easy. Inside, the apartment had loads of room, everything we needed, and really comfortable beds. It’s lovely and well equipped. We’d happily come back.
