Upstalsboom Seehotel

We had a great stay and will certainly come back. The hotel is near the beach, with modern, clean rooms and friendly staff. There’s a generous breakfast buffet, and guests can also use the pools at nearby hotels.

Breakfast had plenty of variety, and anything running low was brought out again quickly. We were welcomed warmly, and the breakfast staff were just as friendly. The location is excellent, only a few steps from the beach promenade, station, and center. Our room was functional and a little small, but the box spring bed was comfortable. The bathroom was modern, clean, and a good size. It was quiet even with the elevator next door.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the place was clean throughout. We brought our dog, who was welcome, and found a bowl and blanket waiting in the room. We could even have breakfast with the dog in the lounge. Great location, and we’ll definitely book again.

We liked the building’s facade and stairwell, and the location is excellent. Check-in for our last-minute double room was quick and friendly. The room was a comfortable size and very clean, though the carpet wasn’t to my taste. The bathroom was stylish and spotless. Furniture, colors, and wallpaper felt like the 80s. Our large window brought in lots of light, but also at night because the courtyard across from us was lit. It’s a rehabilitation clinic with a playground. Blackout curtains were there, but using them made the room completely dark. Some curtains or a blind for daytime would have helped. The staff could have been more attentive and welcoming. Breakfast was good, with a standard offering and a decent selection. We stayed October 19th to 23rd, 2025. I’d recommend booking, and I would return, but only in a superior room that doesn’t face the courtyard.
