Appartementhaus Mövchen

Our apartment at Huus Mövchen was compact, but just right for three people, well equipped and, above all, clean. The garden was great for the children, and we adults enjoyed it too. When the weather turned bad, the playroom was invaluable. Ms. Sobirey even kindly sent home the swimsuits we'd left on the clothesline on our last day at the beach. We stayed as a family in August 2025 and really enjoyed it. Communication before the trip was easy and friendly, and the welcome was just as nice. Ms. Sobirey explained everything and was available for questions. It was a great stay, and we'll definitely be back.

There was plenty to keep you busy on a rainy day, with a basement playroom that had foosball, games, a rocking horse, TVs and a little reading corner. The basement also has a small sauna area with its own bathroom, which looked inviting, though we didn't use it because the weather was lovely. Bikes can go in the carport or bike rack, and bottled water is available for a fair price through an honesty box. The apartment itself was clean and well equipped, with basic supplies like soap, dish soap, coffee filters, tea towels and toilet paper. The kitchen had what we needed for small meals, though it might be limited for a three-course dinner. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of luggage storage, the bathroom was modern and functional, and Wi-Fi was fast and stable. The apartment and bathroom aren't very spacious, but we had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. This was our first trip to Borkum, and we booked at Huus Mövchen on a recommendation. Ms. Sobirey answered all my questions directly, kindly and thoroughly, and took our apartment preferences into account. The local contact was also friendly and helpful. We'll definitely return on our next trip.

We had a very pleasant stay, and the landlady was friendly, attentive and helpful. We originally booked a one-bedroom apartment, but while a wardrobe was being repaired, they offered us a different, larger one beforehand at no extra cost. It was nicely furnished and had everything we needed. We'd gladly stay again.
