Hotel & Restaurant Beisenbusch

The staff were so friendly, and the coffee and dessert were good too. It's a dog-friendly restaurant and beer garden, with generous portions of tasty home-style food and plenty of choices. Most dishes come with especially good side salads, and the potato sides, including fries and Bratkartoffeln, are very good.

We loved the old-fashioned feel of the Biergarten. It was August 2025 with fantastic weather, and this was just the right place to sit outside. The staff were very friendly, and the draught König Pilsner came perfectly cold and refreshing.

The schnitzels were huge, freshly made in-house, and delicious. We stopped for lunch during a long drive after looking online for a garden where dogs might be allowed. The garden seating is enormous. The facilities we saw were clean, tidy, and modern, and the bathrooms were finished to a high standard. Everyone working there was super friendly, too.

The restaurant was okay, the employees were really nice, and the breakfast was decent with tasty food. Parking was available, and they provided a cot. Once, they even cleaned my clothes for free. Those were the good parts of my 32-day stay. Housekeeping was awful. There was dust built up under the bed, and I found my room untidy a few times. More worrying, I came back several times to find the door unlocked, which left me concerned about theft. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night twice. It was a false alarm, or perhaps a guest smoking in their room. After 22:00 there was no hotel staff available. When it happened, the fire engines arrived immediately, five vehicles from the station on a Saturday at 01:39, but the hotel boss, who doesn't speak English, took an hour to show up and turn off the alarm and speak with the firefighters. The staff were friendly and polite, although not all of them spoke English. My family visited for two weekends. I told the hotel staff, but nobody explained the extra charges until checkout. I think it was unfair not to tell me the price from the start so I could decide whether it fit my budget.
