Hotel Tenova Köln-Neumarkt

The shared bathroom situation made this stay miserable. Its two doors included one that should have connected to my room but wouldn’t unlock, and one to the corridor. I could hear everything whenever another guest used it. On the third night, more guests arrived, the toilet was left unflushed, tissues were scattered on the floor, and someone’s things were in the sink. I could also hear every sound through the thin walls and connecting door from the neighboring room, where there were at least two adults and two small children. There was no privacy. I’d booked three nights, Thursday to Sunday, at the Kolner Hotel in Cologne. At check-in I was sent to room 33 on the top floor. It was clean, but so cramped I couldn’t stretch my legs in bed without hitting the wardrobe. It was a single room, and the bathroom and toilet were shared with other guests. The first two nights were tolerable because only two of the three rooms seemed occupied. Eventually I packed up and moved to another hotel for my final night. I wouldn’t recommend this “hotel” to anyone wanting even basic comfort or cleanliness.
