HAVEL Cruiser

There were ten of us, six adults and four children aged 9-13, on two boats for three nights. We all got a turn, and it made for a great outing. The area is lovely for a trip, and we took three hours to get to Ketzin. Anchoring with the anchor poles was easy, though it's shallow close to shore. The two owners were so welcoming and thorough when showing us around. They answered everything and gave us route advice. The deck furniture was new and really comfortable, while the sunbeds were quite hard. It got a little cramped with everyone aboard. The gas stove was easy to cook on, and the 80-liter water tank was enough. We used only half, since there isn't a shower, though marinas do have showers. Fuel costs €3 per liter, and half the security deposit was refunded, including the toilet bags. We'll come back, just the two of us next time. It was fantastic. Thanks to you both for being so open and welcoming! One suggestion: add hooks to all the doors so they can be locked briefly.

The houseboat had what we needed, and we could bring extras like a portable shower. Jens gave us a great introduction, too. Our Tuesday-to-Friday physiotherapy company trip for three was simply perfect. We fell asleep surrounded by nature, woke to beautiful birdsong, then brushed our teeth straight in the Havel River. We'll definitely do it again.

Our self-named boat, OTTO, looked after us wonderfully, and we had such a lovely weekend. The kind couple were incredibly helpful. Steffi, Emmy, and I, Romano, will definitely be back.

The boats are basic, but practical, with everything you need. Even with somewhat unlucky weather, we enjoyed the trip. On the first day we already wished we'd booked longer, after setting off for just three nights. The owners were really friendly and gave us an excellent briefing. They even called the day before to say we could board before 2 pm. We'll be back next year for sure. Parking right by the harbor was handy too. It costs an extra €5 per night, but the car is locked up, covered, and safe.
