Hotel Garni Maaß

We held a celebration of life there, and the staff were really kind and courteous.

I stayed for one night at the end of the Rheinsteig route and had a great time. The room's Wi-Fi was reliable, and the owner was very friendly. Breakfast was served in their own bakery, and the fresh bread is highly recommended.

I loved this hotel, cafe, and bakery, and would absolutely recommend them. The owner was so welcoming, and breakfast was amazing. In the morning I woke to the smell of bread and cakes baking in the oven.

Andrea, the owner, went far beyond what we expected when I had a bad allergic reaction to a tick bite on the day we arrived. There was no chemist in the village, so she drove us to the hospital in Koblenz, about 20 minutes away, helped us through the emergency department process, and waited while I saw the doctor. Then she found the only chemist open in Koblrenz on a Sunday evening so I could get the prescribed medicine, and drove us back to the hotel. It took about two hours out of her busy evening. I can't thank her enough. She says she feels responsible for guests while they're staying with her, and she certainly proved it to us. If you're in Braubach, stay here! We were walking the Rheinsteig and stayed for one night. The hotel is lovely, joined to a great Cafe / Bakery (Cafe Maass), and we were warmly welcomed. We could use the lift to bring our bags up. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished, with comfortable beds. There's a shared area for eating and drinking, with beer and wine that you pay for at the end of your stay. There's also a sauna, which we didn't use. Rooms are arranged around a flower-filled courtyard, and breakfast in the Cafe was great. Andrea's help alone would have made this an excellent review.
