A quirky hotel with an old-school German feel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the shower was good. Breakfast was nice, and the town was lovely. There seemed to be only foreigners staying when we were there, which was nice, as the place feels more local. There's interesting artwork all over the walls. Would recommend it.

We had a meal in the restaurant that was particularly good, and parking worked out fine, though booking ahead is advisable. Our dog was welcome too. The owner and staff were so friendly and helpful, they couldn't have done more to make us feel at home. The hotel is in an old historic mill filled with interesting paintings. Our apartment room was spacious and comfortable, with a separate lounge. Breakfast was amazing, with so much choice that it's hard to think what else they could have offered, even at a five-star hotel. Highly recommended, and we may well return.

The bed was far more comfortable than most European beds I'm used to, which are usually hard and unlike American ones. The property and surrounding area are beautiful, the hotel is great, and breakfast was good. I'm really glad I picked this place.
