The location was the one good point. We stayed from December 30, 2025, to January 2, 2026, as two couples, paying €166 per room, including breakfast and tourist tax. We didn’t get a tourist tax booklet or anything like that. For that price, I’d expect a reception and someone on site. The rooms were very dated, and although breakfast was okay, there wasn’t anywhere to sit and chat with other guests. There are much cheaper, more modern hotels. I found it pretty outrageous.

There’s underground parking for bicycles, and breakfast was good. It’s a nice little hotel, a bit older, but otherwise very nice. I’d gladly stay again.

For a hotel without luxury, I’d recommend it. The rooms are clean and well cared for, though the bathroom is a little tight for us “tall people” 😉. The price seems reasonable for the location and Braunlage. Service is friendly and good, breakfast is plentiful, and the overnight stay was OK. We can recommend it.

We came with a motorcycle group and felt very comfortable, with room for our bikes in the underground garage. The owner made us feel welcome and put together a wonderful breakfast. Rooms are a good size, and although the furnishings are a little dated, they’re well maintained. Everything was very clean, and the value for money is excellent. We’ll be back.
