The quiet atmosphere suited us perfectly, since the owners had limited the number of rooms they rented during the coronavirus pandemic. The rules were handled very well, and we don't understand why some guests get frustrated about restrictions. They were reasonable here. We also loved the room itself: tastefully furnished, comfortable beds, and a private roof terrace where we could sit in complete privacy and take in the stunning view. The whole house is nicely decorated, and everyone working there was friendly and personable. In the evening, you can ask for chilled drinks to be brought to your room. The regional wine was very reasonably priced. Breakfast had everything we needed, with plenty of choice, fresh fruit salad, raw vegetable salads, and different kinds of rolls that were fresh and crispy. We felt very much at home and will definitely return next year.

The peace and quiet made our stay incredibly relaxing, and the surrounding area is beautiful. We had a large, lovely room upstairs with a fantastic view, plus a private rooftop terrace that we could walk onto straight from the room and enjoy without being disturbed. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, and drinks were available in the afternoon and evening. Our whole time at the "Tannenhof" in the Dahner Felsenland region was perfect, and it will stay a fond memory. We'll definitely come back.

The host was charming and attentive, and breakfast had a traditional mix of sweet and savory choices. It's a very quiet guesthouse, with a fairly spacious room, a lovely terrace and magnificent view, plus a decent bathroom.

We especially liked how quiet the place is, and it makes an ideal base for hikes. Our comfort room had a rooftop terrace with a view of Drachenstein, which we'd highly recommend. There's Wi-Fi, plus a kitchenette and a rack for hiking boots on the ground floor. The rooms were clean, friendly, and beautifully furnished, and the breakfast buffet was lovingly put together with homemade salads. This was our second stay at the Pension zum Tannehof, and we were very pleased again. We'd love to return!

The breakfast buffet was first-class, and we got valuable insider tips for our hikes. The guesthouse has a warm, friendly feel from the moment you walk in. We'd visited the Dahner Felsenland region several times before, but this was our first stay at the "Tannenhof." The rooms with roof terraces are bright, new, and beautifully furnished, with fantastic views, and easily compare with rooms in expensive star-rated hotels. There are also smaller rooms with balconies, though they probably aren't furnished as comfortably. All in all, it's a highly recommendable guesthouse.
