The quiet street and the included private garage were a real plus for us. EDEKA, ALDI, and Penny are nearby, with restaurants, bakeries, banks, and other places within walking distance. The Wurmberg cable car is only a few minutes away on foot. We stayed in the very modern, clean, functional Harz Seasons apartment, which was in excellent condition. It’s on the first floor and you have to use the stairwell, so it isn’t wheelchair accessible. When it’s icy, I hope the road is kept clear. The slope is pretty steep for someone from the city, and I wouldn’t want to drive around there. Update: I arrived just before the snowplows, and even with good tire tread I couldn’t make it halfway down the street. The bathroom floor gets remarkably cold, so slippers are highly recommended.
