The apartment itself is nice and has plenty of room for two people and a dog, but the noise from the family upstairs was constant. The stomping got really irritating. We chose Braunlage because of the supposed firecracker ban, hoping our dogs could have a calm New Year's Eve without fear or panic. Instead, fireworks have been going off now and then for the last three days. We also can't understand why Penny Markt in Braunlage sells fireworks if firecrackers are banned here. We came all this way for quiet and have already been badly let down by Braunlage. We're anxious about tomorrow, since it will probably be as loud as it is at home, where there is no ban. For us, Braunlage is out before and on New Year's Eve. I'd sooner take the dogs to an airport.

The apartment is really nicely equipped, and Braunlage's main street is just a five-minute walk away.

The location is ideal, and the modern apartment is really lovely. All the restaurants and other places are close enough to reach on foot.

Really lovely place right in the middle of Braunlage, and good value too. We'd happily come back.

A very modern two-room apartment in a multi-family building that's showing its age.
