Apartment 4, the small mountain suite, worked very well for our 12-day stay. We booked through Harzdomicil and were completely satisfied. It was spotless, and the private parking space is right in front of the building. The sauna was easy to use and worked well. The only thing we might have liked was an oven, but we knew there wasn’t one before booking, so I packed accordingly.

Apartment 6 - Chalet Jägerstieg is very close to the forest, with hiking trails easy to reach. Shops, supermarkets, and restaurants are only a few meters away, and the house itself is quiet. The apartment is clean, stylish, and comfortable, though a little cramped for us as a couple despite being listed for six. The kitchen is small, but we had everything except an oven. There are TVs in the living and dining room, bedroom, and children’s room. Only the large one has cable; the other two have DVD players, which hardly anyone uses these days. That was still easy enough for us to work around. The bathroom is small, chic, and modern. It took ages to get the sauna running because the amount to insert wasn’t marked. A session costs €4, paid in €2 coins. The relaxation room was quite dirty, very cold, and poorly designed compared with the apartment.

The shops are just around the corner, with restaurants nearby too. We enjoyed our cozy stay in apartment number 9, which was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. The electric grill was a particularly nice touch. Arranging things with the landlord and picking up the keys were both easy and friendly.

There was plenty of room for three people, and the accommodation was very clean and well equipped.
