The Langen family made us feel right at home with their open, friendly Brazilian hospitality. Breakfast includes homemade items alongside the usual things. Our room was very good, and the location was quiet and fine. There’s also a common room where you can watch football, including EC matches. Good value for the money, and recommended.

Our room was the colorful, spacious, and clean “Rio the Janeiro”-room, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. They even made us poffertjes, a Dutch delicacy, which showed how much they cared about their guests. We stayed at the end of April 2023 and found the owners incredibly welcoming. We’d happily recommend the hotel and hope to visit again.

The atmosphere was calm and cozy, and we could enjoy a quiet evening on the terrace since the hotel is set back from the main road. We stayed four nights and found the owners very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of variety, especially for a hotel this size. We’d choose Hotel Wappenhof again if we return to Braunlage.

A very clean, cozy room with a really large, comfortable bed. The owners were friendly, and made an effort to speak English when we couldn’t speak German. Breakfast was nicely served and had a good variety.

The location is beautiful, and the owner was helpful and friendly. I slept so well in the comfortable bed, with that really cozy blanket. Breakfast was the best. I’d love to come back!
