The outside had lots of lovely spots to sit and relax, and the lounge was great, with complimentary tea around the hotel and snacks and soft drinks you could take and charge to your room. We stayed in the spacious attic room and had an amazing time. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh bread every day, eggs made to order, waffles, yogurt toppings, plenty of choices, and a good coffee machine. The restaurant was good, but expensive, with a small menu and limited options. I wouldn't go more than twice during a stay. The merchandise was great, too. One little snag: the wall pads for the room lights were so confusing that we kept switching everything off by accident. Still, I'd definitely recommend staying here.

We felt welcome throughout and had only nice things to say about the staff. Everyone we met was kind, and when we found at checkout that some bills had been added to our room by mistake, the receptionist sorted it quickly. We enjoyed our stay, though we didn't have time to try the spa or sauna. The room was decent and well designed, mixing typical Harz style with modern industrial touches. We had one of the larger rooms, which I think is necessary. I missed having a sofa, a proper coffee machine, and a fridge. There was a kettle, tea, and instant coffee. At this price, I also expect bathroom amenities, if you're picky. The hotel's strengths are its food, spa facilities, and location, rather than a uniquely memorable room. Breakfast was probably the best part, with a great variety of tasty food and drinks and lots of attention to detail. You can even take water, tea, and coffee with you. There are lovely outdoor places to spend time as well.

The hotel feels cozy and beautiful, and the food was amazing at both breakfast and in the restaurant. It's one of the best places we've stayed, and I'd love to come back soon. I recommend it to everyone!

We really enjoyed our stay here as a group of four, two adults and two adolescents. The employees were capable, friendly, and service minded. I can absolutely recommend this hotel.

The restaurant is fantastic, and everyone was super friendly. The rooms were tidy and clean, with a very stylish interior. Unfortunately, the many stairs make it difficult for anyone with a pram. Definitely recommended!
