The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were amazing. I had to leave very early to catch the train, so I asked if they could give me breakfast to take along. I was impressed by how much they offered: two delicious sandwiches, a yogurt with a wooden spoon, an apple, a protein bar, muffins, and cookies. It was amazing. I can’t wait to return to Braunschweig and stay at Penta Hotel again. 😇😇🎉💯

The hotel covers the basics, but the gym wasn’t available after midnight as advertised. It felt like an afterthought, too, much like in many budget hotels. The pillows had no support, the towels were tiny and absorbed about as well as a paper towel before it’s used up. There was no water in the rooms either, so you have to get it from the bar. We were a large group and spent quite a bit at the bar over two nights. On our first evening, my manager left something behind, and they only returned it if he agreed to pay for three drinks that weren’t ours. We all paid when we ordered, and nobody had Heineken. Next time I return, I’ll go out of my way to choose somewhere else.

The staff were really welcoming, and there’s plenty to choose from at breakfast. You can also get a good meal in the restaurant, and the bar stays open. The central location makes it a good place to stay.

The meals were a highlight, with a good range at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I was there for two nights on a work trip, and the clean, modern room faced the main road without any noise bothering me. Our conference room felt cramped and was set up classroom-style, though our group had more than 50 people, so that wasn’t surprising. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend it.
