Best Western Hotel Am Muenster

The setting is wonderful, with plenty of interesting places around it. The service was friendly and good. The restaurants, though, don't feel like four-star places apart from their prices.

The room was a good size and had a nice view. Great location, too.

We had a lovely five-day stay and would happily come back. The room was comfortable, clean, well kept, and had everything we needed. The hotel feels welcoming, and everyone we met on staff was friendly and helpful, not only the reception team. The breakfast buffet was generous and very good, and we enjoyed the food. The restaurant itself could feel cozier, though the staff's warmth and competence made up for that. The spa area seemed to be the one neglected part. The pool is lovely, but it was too cold to feel inviting. The location is unique, especially with a room overlooking the Rhine.

The hotel has a lovely view, but I won't be going back. Before Covid, we tried to stop for a drink on the terrace and were told we couldn't. The person at reception handled it in a way that left us perplexed. We usually go there, so I have serious doubts about the decision to turn customers away. It isn't a big deal, though: we found a charming little café a bit farther down the road, with a superb view.
