Pension Berghof

This is a very clean, lovely guesthouse with a warm and friendly host. Nothing was missing in the service, and we felt really comfortable. It’s tucked away a little, but worth finding. The host was very friendly and attentive to the guests’ comfort. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh rolls and eggs from their own chickens, and the price was very good for what we got. Deep in the forest, it’s a great starting point for walks. The place was exceptionally clean and looked as if it had just been renovated. Highly recommended!

We had fresh eggs from their own chickens each morning, and nearly everything was homemade. Breakfast had lots of choice, and they were happy to accommodate special requests. We ate at the guesthouse every evening; the food was delicious, and they always checked that we were satisfied. The staff were very friendly, too. The rooster woke us every morning, but we didn’t mind at all. I’d always hoped for a holiday with animals, and that wish came true. The rooms were cleaned every day, and everything was spotless. After a lovely breakfast, it’s easy to get the day going and head out to explore, maybe on a great hike. Dinner at the guesthouse is well worth having, and they’re happy to handle special requests. Everything felt welcoming and the service was excellent. Thanks for a wonderful holiday. This was my second visit, and I’d love to return.
