Hotel Garni Eden

We were a family of four and stayed six nights across two rooms. Alberto and his wife took great care of us, and even let us keep our bikes safely in their garage. They also gave us good tips on cycling routes, places to eat, and wineries to visit. The hotel is in a quiet area, with clean rooms and an excellent breakfast. Recommended.

We'd stay here again next time. The hotel is very quiet and clean, and it's close to Lake Bodensee. Breakfast was delicious, with both hot and cold choices. The owner is very kind and patient.

The Verna family makes it hard to leave. I felt so at ease that I wanted to stay longer, and their care throughout my visit was wonderful. They’re incredibly friendly, always available for questions or requests, and encourage guests to speak up so they can address anything right away. Everything was coordinated and spotlessly clean. I was on a solo cycling trip and remembered being very happy at Hotel Eden 17 years ago, so I wanted to return to this exact place. It was well worth it. The owner told me the rooms had all been renovated, and my single room showed it: it was very clean and beautifully furnished, with a TV, refrigerator, and balcony. Many thanks to the Verna family for such a lovely overnight stay and such warm care.

The owners are welcoming and accommodating, and they’re glad to suggest excursions by boat or car. Breakfast was plentiful and good, with perfectly cooked egg dishes and excellent coffee. The hotel and rooms were very clean, though at times there was a bit too much cleaning product used. There’s plenty of parking right outside. I came across the place by chance through a Google search, and the positive reviews matched my experience. It’s centrally located but quiet. Definitely worth another visit. We’ll be back.
