I wasn't staying at the hotel. I went in only to ask the desk to call a cab because Bsag was on strike, but two wonderful women treated me like a VIP. It was freezing outside, and they offered me coffee or cocoa and invited me to get comfortable in the waiting lounge. They cheered me up on a cold morning when I was trying to get across town to work. I've stayed in fancy five-star hotels, but this was my best hotel experience ever.

The room was a converted attic, tiny enough to make a capsule hotel seem spacious. About a third of it had a 2.20-meter ceiling, with the rest sloping down to 60 centimeters. Parts of the place seemed unmaintained, and the bathroom light only worked with an annoying ventilation noise. There was no parking space in the lot. The elevator, which was a tiny triangular one, only went up to the third floor, so we had to take the stairs the rest of the way. Check-in was bad and checkout felt careless. It was so disappointing that we didn't even go to the paid breakfast.

The shower was nice and the room was in good shape, with a comfortable bed. But there were clumps of dust under the bed, and the room smelled of smoke. A local shopping center is ten minutes away on foot, and you can order takeaway to the hotel. Renovation work made it very loud. I'd stay again for a short visit, but no longer than three days.

The room smelled bad and there was trash under the bed. We seriously considered leaving. The furniture was really old and the room wasn't in good condition; it needs renovating.

We stayed one night. The neighborhood felt very run-down. Inside, the rooms were clean but worn, and the discolored carpet felt dirty. The bathroom was okay, though shower water trickled onto the carpet. The receptionist was friendly but didn't speak English. Breakfast was below average.
