The room wasn't really my thing, but that was the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept in so far.

An interesting setup: the owner seems to rent rooms on two floors, with a shared kitchen and bathroom if other guests are staying there. We were alone, so for €49 a night we pretty much had an entire apartment, which was a great price. Check-in and check-out work with a password, though the owner is available too. He was a bit unfriendly, but really, you're there for the room. The beds were good, the TV was very large, and it's reasonably close to both the airport and a tram station downtown.

For travelers on a budget, Airportgästehaus Bremen is a comfortable, affordable place near the airport, handy if you have a flight to catch. It has individual and couple rooms, and they were quiet and comfortable. Breakfast isn't included, but the coffee machine is available for complimentary coffee until 10 a.m. A good spot for a couple of days in the area or a restful night before flying.

The price is good, and the beds and bathroom are really nice. I booked at the last minute and got there right at midnight, but the owner didn't mind at all.

A really cosy, lovely place, and very clean. There's a kitchen guests can use in the morning. It's spread over three floors, two upstairs and one downstairs. Just be aware, the stairs are noisy.
