ATLANTIC Grand Hotel Bremen

The location was good, and breakfast was excellent. My room was quiet and comfortable. But I was really disappointed there was no hair conditioner in the bathroom. At reception, they offered to sell me a giant bottle for a small fortune or suggested I walk alone to a nearby pharmacy at 9 pm to see if they had a travel-size one. That really didn’t feel like they were catering to female guests. A hotel for men!

We spent three nights at the Atlantic Grand Hotel in Bremen with our two cats for our anniversary. The location is fantastic, and the underground parking was easy to use: no trouble getting in, finding a space, or leaving. Our spacious, clean room had a nice city view. We skipped breakfast, but ordered room service once, and it was prompt and delicious. Throughout our stay, the staff were friendly, professional, and timely, and they went out of their way to make us comfortable. The bed was the one awful part. The mattresses were old, and the support sagged in the middle. I slept on the couch the first night. In the morning, we told the front desk, and they sent someone with a board to put under the mattress. That made things tolerable, but still far from pleasant. It’s such a shame, because everything else about the hotel was perfect.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was good, and the room was spacious, clean, and modern, with plenty of room for clothes. The Atlantic hotel is right in the center, which is an excellent location. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and gladly recommend it.
