The location is excellent and there's parking. The rooms are clean and tidy, but small, and the hotel has very limited facilities. I'd give it three stars, though the kind, cooperative team earns the fourth.

The breakfast was great, and the balcony was large. The staff spoke English and made check-in easy. There's also a shop with wine and soft drinks. I'll come back.

The staff were kind and professional, and the location suited us perfectly during Sail 2025 in Bremerhaven. We could easily get to the station and to restaurants and shops in the city center. The room was nice, but several small annoyances affected our stay enough that I'd only consider returning for one night. The bathroom had nowhere suitable to hang wet bath towels. There was a small hand-towel hook, but it was too close to the sink and door, so we ended up draping towels over chairs or the door. There was no bathroom outlet for a razor or curling iron, and the light was too dim for makeup or shaving. We had to use the entry mirror, where our elbows kept hitting the door. The toiletries had a strong ginger scent that made us sneeze and left our hair and skin dry. An unscented option might work better. There were a few small clothing shelves, but just a wall coat rack and a few hangers for everything else. My husband's shirts were hard to hang without them pressing together and getting wrinkled. The balcony was spacious and gave good shade on the hot, sunny days, but only had one chair, so we couldn't sit out together. The next room had two chairs. Its awning also retracted by itself at random, and we had to roll it out again several times.

The room and bed were okay, and so was breakfast, but the soundproofing could be better. Reception felt neutral, in a very German manner. The area around the hotel felt unsafe, so booking parking at the hotel is the better choice. It worked for a business trip.
