Pension Isabel No2

We came for a weekend in Hamburg and Bremen and found this as the cheapest and best option for our trip. Reviews said the host is often late for check-in. We called an hour ahead to ask about checking in early since we were nearby. That wasn't possible, which was no problem. But then the host made us wait 30 minutes at the scheduled check-in time before showing up. He could have mentioned on the phone that he might be late. It wasn't a deal breaker for me, since the host was otherwise very nice and friendly. We booked an extra day at the last minute, and that was no problem either. The beds squeaked, and since everything was wood, you could hear everything happening in the apartment, which isn't ideal for light sleepers. The room was spacious and the kitchen had lots of things to use. Most importantly, the hygiene was absolutely spotless. Overall, you get what you pay for. The tram stop is right outside the apartment, and it's just three stops to the main station. There's also a big park nearby.
