Radisson Blu Hotel, Bremen

The room was clean and tidy, with good air conditioning, filtered drinking water, and a decent gym. The hotel is attractive inside and sits right in the town center. There was construction during my stay, though, and nobody mentioned it at check-in. Drilling woke me at around 6-7am. I raised it with staff when checking out, and they compensated me by waiving my car parking charges.

The junior suite was great, and the linens and towels were lovely. The staff were so helpful and informative, and the location made it easy to walk to everything most people want to see. Breakfast was top-notch, too, with helpful people in the breakfast room. I especially loved the coffee machine, double stars for cappuccino with oat milk, and I'm happy they're going green. My one gripe is that they don't have shower caps because of their green approach. I still need a way to shower without getting my hair wet, so I hope they find a solution for guests who need one.

The hotel restaurant was fabulous and definitely worth recommending. I stayed three nights, and the room itself was comfortable and clean, but there were a few problems: the shower drain was blocked and the air conditioning didn't work properly. Repairs right beside my room were also loud between 9-10 am, which felt quite early. Better maintenance would make this a great place to stay.

This was my second visit in a month, and the WiFi was still poor, with a weak signal and slow speeds. When I asked reception if they could improve it, they said there was nothing they could do at the time. As a customer, I expect problems like this to be addressed. I hope management improves the signal across all floors as well as the speed.
