We were very pleased with the meals. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were delicious, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. There’s a bus stop close by, which made it easy to get to the Havenwelten, including Klimahaus. Our family room worked well for us. It had two bedrooms divided by a door, one with a double bed and the other with a couch bed. The rooms were a little cramped but fine, while the bathroom felt quite tiny for four people. We could keep our bikes in a locked shed. We were very content with our stay and would recommend it.

The breakfast was good, at least. The rest was a terrible stay for me. There’s no air conditioning, and you can’t relax in the garden unless you spend money at the bar. With ambulances and police going down the main road every five minutes, day and night, I couldn’t sleep.

The restaurant food was tasty, but they wouldn’t take credit cards. The reception staff were very kind; the breakfast staff didn’t even say good morning and didn’t respect the breakfast hours. Sorry, but I won’t come back.

The location loses a star for being quite far from the city center, though I guess you know that before booking. Otherwise, everything was as expected, which is a good thing. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and wifi was available. I also liked the complimentary bottle of water.

The hotel staff and restaurant chef were the bright spots. Dinner and breakfast weren’t bad, and I’m glad I only stayed one night because I don’t plan to return. The room was small, the bed uncomfortable, and it was far too hot in early June. There’s no air conditioning, and I couldn’t open the window because high-speed trains kept passing nearby at night, about every five minutes. I didn’t sleep all night. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
