We’ve stayed here twice now and would happily come back. Nice rooms, a good breakfast and great service.

There’s no Wi-Fi or mobile reception, and it really feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere.

We took a short break at the Heidehof guesthouse in the Lüneburg Heath, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The facilities and service were outstanding, and we’d gladly return. A special thank you to the guesthouse staff member who looked after my girlfriend when she had a stomach bug for a day. They kept checking how she was doing and brought her suitable tea. We can wholeheartedly recommend the place.

The hosts were kind and helpful, and the nearby highway was so quiet that we didn’t hear it at all. I’d have liked a little more choice at breakfast, perhaps sausage and scrambled eggs. There were also two sharp edges in our room’s floor, and one of them hurt me quite badly once. These are just suggestions, though, and didn’t spoil our holiday or the memories. We’d be happy to return.
