The staff were kind and helpful, and the rooms were clean. They used fresh products for breakfast and dinner. It's a beautiful, quiet location, while still close to plenty of interesting places to visit. Nice hotel!

The hotel is in a perfect spot near the lake, or maar, and the main cycling trails. The price was okay, and the staff were really friendly. It's a cute little place with a restaurant and a nice terrace. The food was good, typical German cooking and typical German-sized portions 😉.

Dogs are welcome, and there's a separate corner in the dining room where they can join you for breakfast or dinner. The location also worked really well for hikes in the forest or around Dauner Maare. We enjoyed our three-night stay at this cozy family hotel. The friendly, helpful owners made us feel very welcome and looked after our needs. Breakfast was generous and varied, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.
