Bernd Vogel Apartments

We stayed two nights as two adults aged 55-63. The location and noise level earn the one star; we enjoyed our time in Bremerhaven, but the apartment itself was very disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend it. The photos speak for themselves. I told the landlord directly after arriving, and the only response was, “I guess I’ll have to speak to my cleaning lady.” After paying €35 for final cleaning, I found the place so dirty that I got a vacuum and cloth and cleaned it myself. The fridge was disgusting, and there was even food left by the previous guest in the freezer. The chairs and sofas were dirty, there were coffee stains on the floor, the tables weren’t clean, and the egg cooker was dirty too. Neighbors smoked, so when we opened the windows, smoke came into the apartment. It was very warm, with full sun in the afternoons, and polyester bed linen made it unsuitable in those temperatures.

We could reach everything easily on foot, and parking was available. The place was clean, small, and cozy, in a great central spot. The landlord was so friendly and nice that I really have nothing to complain about :)

The apartment and the house were clean, and the city center was very close by.
