Coast House Moana

The balcony view was beautiful, the beds and mattresses were really comfortable, and the apartment looked even better than the pictures. It was clean and nicely furnished, with only a little dust here and there. The building has a supermarket downstairs and other useful shops, including Douglas. The location is excellent, and although renovation noise hadn't been mentioned, it didn't bother us. We also appreciated being allowed to smoke on the balcony. We'd come back, but for us the price only makes sense in the off-season or at the start of peak season. A week later it would have cost twice as much, which was out of the question. The kitchen was well maintained, but cooking was awkward because it has no window, ventilation is poor, and opening the front door isn't possible; the balcony didn't create a draft. TV channels were limited, and the sofa wasn't comfortable, but those things were okay. We booked for the wrong month, but the owner was excellent to deal with and reachable 100% of the time. They found a solution, though we had to pay more for the following month. Even so, that was better than having to book again and pay far more than the apartment should have cost. It was our mistake, and the owner was nice, so it worked out okay for everyone. The directions to the key safe could have been clearer, especially since we arrived without a car, but the apartment's condition made up for that.
