The location is superb, and the hotel feels cozy, with good mattresses and a very clean, modern design. Breakfast was extraordinary, the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. We did have to pay an extra 10€ for parking in the morning, though nobody at reception was there to open the sauna or explain that charge. Still, I’d highly recommend the place.

Everything was clean, the bed was good, and the shower was nice. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that there wasn’t a mini fridge in the room.

Breakfast was an amazing spread, with everything you could think of. They said dinner wasn’t available, so we weren’t sure what to expect, but a back door led straight to a lovely cobbled village square lined with little bars and restaurants. The welcome was warm and smiling, and the location is fantastic. There’s a car park of their own, though finding your way around it is a bit of a maze. I’d happily return and recommend it for a night or two to enjoy the area.

The main drawback is the very narrow parking, which could be a problem with a larger car. The rooms were clean but a little small, and the thermostat wasn’t user-friendly for adjusting the temperature comfortably. It’s a tidy, picturesque hotel in the historic center, with lovely, helpful service and an amazing breakfast.

Right in the heart of Bretten, this is an amazing hotel. Breakfast was lovely and had lots of options. I would have appreciated a fridge in the room.
