Ferienweingut Hensler

Breakfast at the Hensler family guesthouse was the best we’ve had in one. We stayed five days and were welcomed so warmly. Our room was spotless, and the beds were excellent. Every day there were three kinds of sausage from the butcher, lots of cheese including Brie, hard cheese, cream cheese and processed cheese, plus homemade jams, all lovingly prepared. On our last evening, we went to a wine tasting and heard a lot about growing and making wine. We really enjoyed the Hensler winery wines, and the prices are hard to beat, so we took a few cases home. We’ll see the family again when they deliver wine to our area in Zwickau. Thanks for a lovely stay. The Hirschberg family

Mr. and Mrs. Hensler are friendly and always up for a chat. The room was lovely and practical, and breakfast was good and plentiful. There’s a selection of their wines for sale in the fridge in the breakfast room. We found them tasty and well priced. We’re looking forward to staying again and wish the Hensler family all the best.

We spent a wonderful week with the Hensler family in September 2024, and would happily return. Even though we were in the holiday apartment, we enjoyed the lovely breakfast each morning. In the evenings we could relax on the terrace with a nice glass of wine. We also had a delicious, really informative wine tasting with the other guests. Many thanks for that. Angela and Dieter Behm

The apartment had everything we needed, and when something was missing, we only had to ask and it was provided. It was very nice and clean, and we felt comfortable right away. The winemakers introduced themselves, were very friendly, and answered all our questions. Breakfast was excellent, with nothing missing. We enjoyed the wines left in the apartment; they were great and reasonably priced. We’ll definitely come back. Many thanks and praise to the Hensler family!
