What stood out most to me was the atmosphere. After months in hotels, SAXX Business Apartments felt like a welcome break from the often impersonal hotel culture in Germany. The staff, from the excellent cleaning service to management, knew guests by name and suggested restaurants. Calling the management “hosts,” as they often do in Switzerland, feels especially fitting here in Hagen. I’m based in Norway and work mainly in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Because of international quarantine rules, I spent several months here. The location was ideal, quiet but central, with parking right at the building. A good burger place and an Italian restaurant offering takeaway were only a one or two minute walk away. If you’d rather cook, there’s a very modern, fully equipped kitchen, and a supermarket three minutes away where you can stock the fridge. “My” apartment impressed me with its up-to-date furnishings, balconies, rain shower and generous space. As someone who spends around 120 days a year in hotels, I’m grateful to the excellent SAXX team and hope future guests have just as good an experience.

The reception at the hotel in Hagen is very friendly and always finds a way to help, whether that’s accepting packages or printing emails. The apartment is beautifully furnished in a modern style, and the bed is absolutely fine. I’m completely satisfied. So far, this is one of the best, if not the best, hotel or apartment I’ve stayed in.

My apartment was spacious and worked perfectly for getting work done. The apartments are very clean, with great amenities, and right in the city center. The on-site team was extremely helpful and focused on guests.

I’m leaving SAXX with a smile and a tear in my eye, since I can fortunately return to my own apartment now, something I’m really looking forward to. After suffering water damage, I can highly recommend the SAXX Serviced Apartment concept. Nobody wants to spend that long in a normal hotel room. It’s much better to have a regular home-like environment. I’ve been a very satisfied guest at the SAXX *Goldberg Karree* for five months. From my first contact and the spontaneous move-in to the hotel manager, Mr. Bruker, and his team being so friendly and understanding, the whole experience was simply perfect. They provided the *essential* things, especially during the coronavirus pandemic, and offered laundry service too. The Krollmann Group had a great idea and carried it out superbly. Many thanks for everything. I recommend it without reservation!
