The waitress was nice, and the restaurant had been renovated, so it was bright and clean. But the food let it down. My husband's pizza was burnt around the crust, and the part that wasn't burned tasted okay, though nothing special. My lasagna was cold in the middle, with no ricotta, basically just noodles and bolonase sauce. It seemed like it may have been frozen and hadn't been heated through.

I only ate at the restaurant, and the meal wasn't good. The salad looked old, and the food was sitting in oil or fat. It was cold in the dining room as well.

The scenery was very good, and the service was too. A very good experience.

A lovely spot in the woods.

The service felt unfriendly and irritated, with little empathy, which was especially upsetting at a funeral reception. The sandwiches were very dry, and the cheese had dried out. The cake staff said came from a bakery was so hard and dry it was like a shoe sole. We brought another cake ourselves, and staff immediately complained that they wouldn't make money from it. That felt disrespectful and completely out of place. At an occasion like this, we expected respectful treatment and at least fresh, simple food. We left very disappointed and can't recommend the place.
