We only stopped for coffee at the nice kiosk in front of the hotel. The coffee itself was nothing special, and their cappuccino was a funny take on it: filter coffee with a little milk and whipped cream. Don’t expect a proper cappuccino.

We waited in line for ages to get a bratwurst today, and the whole place struck me as suspicious. The Trabant had “Melanie Müller” written on it, there was an old East German flag hanging up, and they wouldn’t serve Green Party supporters. That kind of politics doesn’t belong in a pub. It shouldn’t matter who comes to eat your bratwurst. The staff were absolutely unfriendly, and I wouldn’t come back. The bratwurst tasted too right-wing to me, especially with the political undertone and the way they seemed to want to “live it out.” Thankfully, you wouldn’t see something like that in the West.
