We were made to feel very welcome by the owner and staff. Our room was spacious, fresh, and comfortable, and there's a large lockable garage for cars and bikes, plus free Wi-Fi. At breakfast, we asked them to leave out the Schinken, and they kindly brought extra cheese instead. The Easter chocolate was a sweet little touch, and I'd happily stay again. Slippers in the room would be nice, though, and I think the price could be a bit lower.

The room didn't have air conditioning, which would've been welcome in the middle of summer, but there was a large fan to move the air around. For a stop on our way home, the hotel suited us perfectly: reasonably priced, near the freeway, and close enough to Rostock for our ferry. The staff were especially friendly and helpful. After we got home, we realized we'd left our son's teddy bear behind. They mailed it to us in a package. That's great service!

Brück sits on the European Bicycle R1, and the Schützenhaus has bikes guests can use, so it would make a great stop for people cycling the route. There are plenty of trails around Brück, in the Fläming, through forests, nature reserves, and villages. It also seems like a good spot for a family holiday. The hotel itself is a lovely traditional German place with large, clean rooms, great food, and wonderful breakfasts. There's a fitness centre, a four-lane bowling alley, and a sauna too.
