Golchener Hof

Really great.

Good.

Our granddaughter loved all the things she could do, from riding and helping care for the animals to gathering eggs from the henhouse for breakfast the next morning. At her request, we booked for June 14th-19th, 2026, after having booked for 2025, too. Willi, the man who does everything, brought the children so much joy and had everything perfectly organized. We all felt at home from the moment we were warmly welcomed, and enjoyed our stay. Breakfast and dinner were a treat, every dish was delicious, and the children's buffet was prepared with care. The days passed far too quickly, but we can always come back. Thank you for everything, and all the best to you. The Angermann Family 🤗👍

There's loads for kids to do here: visit the animals, ride horses for an extra charge, bounce on the huge bouncy castle, or zip around the yard on toy vehicles. The covered sandbox with toys provided is great too. Some activities, like campfires, tractor rides, and the daily animal feeding, are included in the price. Riding lessons are best booked well in advance. The rooms are really spacious, with Swiss pine paneling, an authentic feel, and spotlessly clean. Since there aren't that many rooms, there's plenty of space. Parents can relax and enjoy themselves as well. The staff are friendly and treat the children with respect, and the family clearly puts their heart and soul into this charming little hotel. It's a beautiful little corner of the world. We would've liked a bit more variety at dinner on a few evenings, though the food was always delicious and everyone found something they liked. It's paradise for children.
