The fried potatoes were delicious, the wine tasted excellent, and the service was very friendly. I’d definitely recommend this wine tavern.

This is our second year in a row visiting the Moselle, and we keep coming back here for food and drinks. The innkeepers are so friendly, the food is delicious, and we’ve found our favourite wine. We’re happy to take it home to Mecklenburg, along with all the lovely memories of a fantastic holiday among warm, welcoming people.

There were six of us passing by, and although the wine tavern wasn’t open yet, they welcomed us warmly and let us try their delicious wine. We came back a little later for a fantastic meal: crackling lard, goulash soup, potato soup, and fried potatoes with a fried egg and Leberkäse (Bavarian meatloaf). Every dish was delicious, and the service was excellent. Such a lovely place. Highly recommended, and many thanks!

Mr. Thiesen gave us great advice on what wine to choose 😊 We’d happened on this small, charming wine tavern and decided to stop in. The short menu made choosing easy. We especially recommend the Bacchus platter with its range of sausages and cheeses, and the winemaker’s head cheese with fried potatoes. We’ll definitely come back.

We spent five days here in August 2023 and had no complaints at all. The wine tavern is lovely, the wines were excellent, and the hosts were friendly. It’s a great place to stay, and we’d absolutely come back and recommend this holiday winery.
